QUESTION: Can I place a bouncy castle or marquee within the hall grounds for use at my event?

ANSWER: Yes, however please discuss the positioning of your bouncy castle or marquee with us in advance as it may impact on the hall fire exits


QUESTION: Can I request the bar to stock a cask ale for sale at my event?

ANSWER: We do not have the facilities or space to serve cask ales correctly from our bar so unfortunately we are not able to provide cask ales at this time. We do provide bottled ale and other beers and we also serve draught beer and larger for larger events.


QUESTION: Do you have table linen (cloths and napkins) that I can hire for my event?

ANSWER: No we do not provide table linen. This must be provided yourself.


QUESTION: Can animals be taken into the hall?

ANSWER: No, for health and safety reasons animals are not allowed inside the hall or on the playing field. Dogs can be exercised within the car park area only.


QUESTION: Are there facilities for the disabled? 

ANSWER: Yes, all our doorways are wide access and there are disabled toilet facilities. There are no significant floor level changes inside the building.


QUESTION: Do you have any facility for baby nappy changing?

ANSWER: Yes, we have a waist-high retractable platform situated in the disabled toilet.



QUESTION: Can I hang decorations from the walls, ceilings etc for the duration of my event?

ANSWER: Yes, however please do not use blutack or sellotape as this may damage the paintwork and also effects the fire retardant coating on the woodwork. There are a number of small hooks already positioned around the hall and we can recommend other means of affixing decorations if you require.


QUESTION: Are tables and chairs and other equipment included in hire of the hall?

ANSWER: Yes, :full use of the hall facilities is included in your hire, this includes all tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery and kitchenware if you require. See our Facilities page for more details.


QUESTION: How many chairs can you fit round the circular tables?

ANSWER: You can fit up to 10 chairs round the circular tables.


QUESTION: How will I gain access to the hall at the time of my booking?

ANSWER: Our Hall Coordinator will contact you before your event to explain how to access the hall and how to lock up after your event.


QUESTION: How do we leave the hall when we are finished?

ANSWER: You should leave the hall in the state that you find it. If you have excess rubbish that does not fit or is not suitable for placing in the external wheelie bins please take it home with you.
